U2 to headline Thanksgiving Eve halftime show at SoFi
U2 will perform at halftime when the Los Angeles Rams host the Green Bay Packers in the NFL’s first Thanksgiving Eve game.
The Rams and NFL announced that the Irish rock band will take the stage at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Wednesday, November 25. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. Pacific.
Matchup: Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Rams
Venue: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood
Broadcast: Netflix globally and NBC4 locally
A return to the NFL stage
The performance comes as U2 marks 50 years since forming in Dublin in 1976. It will be the band’s first NFL halftime appearance since Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002.
