The amusement park says its rides will close temporarily while it plans a rebuilt guest experience; mini golf and the upgraded arcade will stay open.

Castle Park will pause operations in its Ride Park beginning November 2, after the Riverside attraction completes its fall schedule and Castle Dark event on November 1, according to the park and local reporting.

Final ride day: November 1

Ride pause begins: November 2

Still open: Mini golf and the upgraded arcade

No reopening date announced

The operator says it is planning and rebuilding toward a “reimagined experience” for guests and the Riverside community. The park has not announced how long the ride section will be closed or what the redesigned area will include.

Buccaneer Cove is expected to return with its normal seasonal operations. Current Ride Park hours list Fall Fest and Castle Dark dates through November 1, giving families several remaining weekends to visit before the pause.

The distinction matters for visitors: Castle Park itself is not closing entirely. Only the Ride Park is scheduled to pause, while mini golf and arcade operations continue.
